General description: The product is 30wt.% solution of sodium methoxide in methanol. Its reaction with unactivated aryl bromides in the presence of copper catalyst under various reaction conditions has been studied. It reacts with aryl halides in the presence of a palladium catalyst in DMF (Dimethylformamide) to afford arenes.

Application: A novel high-spin hexanuclear Mn(III) cluster, [NaMn6(OMe)12(dbm)6]+, was synthesized via MnCl2 oxidation with simultaneous NaOMe promoted aggregation. This cluster has an unprecedented cyclic structure and 24 unpaired electrons in its ground state.

Application: Sodium methoxide solution has been used in the synthesis of NO-containing nanoparticles (SNO-NP). Liquid sodium methoxide is widely used in the production of sulfonamides. Sodium methoxide is also a metal catalyst for organic synthesis, which is used in the production and processing of chemical fertilizer and vegetable oil.
There are two ways of sodium methoxide commodity in industrial production: solid and liquid. The solid is pure sodium methoxide and the liquid is methanol solution of sodium methoxide. The content of sodium methoxide is 27.5 ~ 31%.
Because sodium methoxide is a hazardous chemical, it is inseparable and closed when packaging. Be sure to ensure safety.
General plastics, such as PP, ABS and PC, are all etched by ethanol. Only PTFE plastics can be used, but the price is very high. It is proposed to use steel drums.
