Description

Pentane 30/70 blowing agent is a blend of n-Pentane 30% and Isopentane 70%.

Pentane 30/70 Blowing Agent — Applications

– Expandable Polystyrene (EPS): primary physical blowing agent for EPS block molding, packaging shapes, and insulation boards
– Aerosol propellant
– Electronic cleaning solvent

Specifications

– Chemical composition: n-Pentane (CAS 109-66-0) 30%, Isopentane (CAS 78-78-4) 70%
– Total Pentane purity: ≥ 98%
– Density (20°C): 615–630 kg/m³
– C4 and below light components: ≤1%
– C6 and above recombinant fractions: ≤1%

Transport & Regulatory

– UN Number: UN 1265 (Pentanes, liquid)
– Hazard Class: Class 3 Flammable Liquid, Packing Group I
– Packaging: ISO Tank (25–26 m³, net capacity approximately 14.7–15.5 MT)
