Description:
The Cyclopentane/Isopentane Blend (50/50) is a high-performance pentane mixture designed as a blowing agent for polyurethane (PU) rigid foam. Comprising equal parts of Cyclopentane and Isopentane, this blend helps reduce foaming costs while maintaining optimal physical properties of the foam.

Cyclopentane has been widely used in Europe since 1993 for PU foam production, and by 1995, nearly all European household appliance manufacturers adopted cyclopentane-based foaming technology. By combining Cyclopentane (boiling point 49 °C) with Isopentane (boiling point 28 °C), the blend ensures effective foaming at lower temperatures during the initial polyurethane reaction. This enhances the flowability of the polyol–isocyanate mixture, resulting in more uniform foam expansion and improved filling performance.

Blend Cyclopentane/Isopentane (50-50) is a mixture of Cyclopentane and Isopentane with guaranteed specifications used as an expansion agent in rigid polyurethane foams expansion.
