Description
n-Pentane 95% (CAS No. 109-66-0) is a straight-chain aliphatic hydrocarbon. Specifically, we produce it mainly as a physical blowing agent for polyurethane (PU) and polystyrene (EPS) foam production. Because of its high volatility and low boiling point, it also works well as an industrial solvent for extraction processes and as a component in refrigerant blends.
This grade suits buyers who need reliable bulk volumes rather than laboratory-scale quantities. However, for applications that call for tighter impurity control, we also offer n-Pentane 99%.

Applications for n-Pentane 95%
What’s more, foam producers use this grade as a physical blowing agent for PU and EPS manufacturing. Beyond foam, it also serves as a solvent in extraction and chemical processing, and as a component in refrigerant blends. Because of its low boiling point, it’s also easy to recover and reuse in closed-loop industrial processes. As a result, many foam producers treat it as a dependable, cost-effective default choice.
