In industry, the common separation methods are extractive distillation, azeotropic distillation and extraction. Traditionally, single solvent is used as extractant in extraction. In recent years, some scholars began to study the use of mixed solvent as extractant. Lee and brown in the United States developed the extractive distillation method using mixed solvent, and some scholars in China have carried out relevant research.
